Public transport

The most ideal and convenient way of traveling within Rotterdam is by bus, tram and metro. The sports locations and activities are easily to reach this way. There is an extensive route network and the connections between the different types of public transportation are excellent.

But be aware that you have a chip card for public transport, because this is the only valid travel pass! Every time you use public transport you have to check in by holding the chip card in front of the scanner. This scanner is placed at the entrance of the bus, tram or metro. Don’t forget to check out again when leaving the bus, metro or tram!!
