Winner photo competition

We challenged photographers to take part in the COLOUR Festival photo competition which requires them to take pictures which reflect acceptance, tolerance and Show Your COLOUR. The winner of this competition was announced on the first day of the EuroGames.

Trampoline

The winner of the Show Your Colour photo competition was short but surely put in the spotlight at the Bilderberg Hotel on Wednesday morning. Jurgen Oldenburg (29 years) from Vlaardingen won the competition with a picture of a  young woman while she was ‘hanging’ in the air during a jump on a trampoline. “When I saw the advertisement for the competition I immediately had a look at my old photos en came across this photo of a friend. A dynamic photo full of movement which I thought was suitable for the theme  Show your Colour” says a still surprised Jurgen during a press conference.

Prize

Jurgen is a photographer, develops websites and writes reports on events. He is very happy with his prize; an extraordinary enlargement of the picture on Schouwburgplein and in front of Rotterdam city hall.” I’m happy to get acknowledged this way and of course it is an encouragement to continue my work.
