The EuroGames: More than sports!

During the EuroGames it isn’t just sports we are celebrating but also tolerance and the many colours of the city. The COLOUR Festival lets Rotterdam show its colour in music, word and images. And that won’t go unnoticed!

Annually
The first edition of the COLOUR Festival is made possible with the arrival of the EuroGames, but here after it will become an annual event. As a result, each year focuses on the acceptance and inclusion of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people among both natives and foreigners.

Program
The first edition of the COLOUR Festival has an extensive program in both in- and outside locations throughout Rotterdam. Although we are still confirming some acts, prepare yourself for an amazing sing-along spectical! The programming is designed so that entrepreneurs can join in. What can you expect? There will be musical performances by Rafaëlla and Mings Pretty Heroes.

The parties are co-organized by Heer Zimmerman’s Dancefloor Fitness and there will be readings in cafés as well as classical music and live performances at different podiums throughout the city.

Photo competition
During the COLOUR Festival image also play an important role.  A Photo competition is being organized. The winning photo will be printed lifesize and hanged in the city. There is also an ‘art route’ through the Witte de Witstraat and daily there will be three appropriate films shown in Lantaren Venster.
