The EuroGames’ Outreach Support Program is here for you
Unfortunately entering in the EuroGames for some isn’t as easy as it sounds. Luckily there is such a thing as the EuroGames Outreach Support Program to help those who need it the most.
Aim
The aim of EuroGames' OutReach Support Program is to have the most effective distribution of limited resources by reaching those who need it most. It is a ‘financial +’ program: applicants who receive financial support also play a pivotal role in stimulating gay sports and creating more acceptance on local level.
Individually based
OutReach is an individually based support. The level can differ per individual and can be easily calculated via a matrix (taking into account i.e. personal annual income and the level of gay acceptance of the applicant's country). For those sportswomen and -men who participate in OutReach, the EuroGames initially take over a part of the registration fee. For the social and cultural activities we provide free entrance, we pay for the public transport and take care of lunches and in some cases dinner and a part of the travel costs as well.
Apply
Applicants need to complete their EuroGames registration and indicate they want to apply for OutReach. Each applicant needs to fill out an OutReach Application Form indicating personal details and send it before 1 April 2011.
