Call for volunteers and ambassadors!

schoenenThe EuroGames is an amazing event in which sports and culture come together. Other than that, this is also a large event. Therefore, we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers and ambassadors who will help to make a great success out of the EuroGames 2011.

Expertise
The EuroGames volunteers are selected on enthusiasm and expertise. Being a volunteer means the sharing of knowledge, experience, energy and time. The main personal gains for volunteers are: professional and personal growth, lots of inspiration, new experiences and also nice contacts.

Positions
Various disciplines are needed to make a success out of the EuroGames 2011. We need people behind as well as in front of the screens. Not only people with a background in sports as there numerous available positions for people with various backgrounds. At this moment, for example, we are looking for people to join our communication team.

Even if the vacancies do not match your profile we encourage you to enrol as a volunteer as we can always use enthusiastic volunteers. There is bound to be a suitable position for you, if not now then maybe at a later time! Fancy being an ambassador?
We are also looking for ambassadors. As a national ambassador you represent the EuroGames and are the channel of communication in your country. You are responsible for building and maintaining the local network existing of (potential) participants and the LGBT-community. In order to promote the EuroGames, inform the participants and provide local support, we are currently looking for enthusiastic Ambassadors. Our aim is to have a National Ambassador in each of our main target countries in Europe.
 
Requirements
What should you bring if you want to become an ambassador? You have an existing network in your local LGBT-community or are willing to build and maintain this. You can spend enough time on promoting the EuroGames, initiating some local events, motivating and providing information/support to the local participants, and giving feedback regarding local requirements.
