The EuroGames 2011 organisation

Recommendation Committee

Committee members can be called upon by the management to improve the EuroGames branding in the societies of Rotterdam, Holland and Europe. The Recommendation Committee does not have decision-making powers and are solely used for promoting the event. Committee members are:

  • Mark Harbers, House of Representatives VVD and former Counsellor economic Affairs, Port and Environment, Rotterdam
  • Lucas Bolsius, Counsellor Finances, Sports and Building control, Rotterdam
  • Hans den Oudendammer, Director Foundation Topsport Rotterdam
  • Erica Terpstra, former Chair NOC*NSF
  • Jos van der Vegt, Director Ahoy, Chairman Chamber of Commerce Rotterdam
  • Paul Overdijk, Chair Company Pride Platform
  • Wouter Neerings, Chair COC Nederland
  • Judith Schuijf, Chair Homosport Nederland

 Management Team

The Management Team is responsible for attaining the organisation’s goals and for the financial policy of the organization. Additionally, they set the aims and monitor the operational management team to make sure policies and strategies are followed. For EuroGames 2011 the bid book and this master plan are leading. The members of the EuroGames Management Team are:

Operational Management Team (OMT)

The Operational Management Team takes care of the implementation of the financial policy. The Sports, Culture and the General and Facilities managers fall under the OMT.
