EGLSF

The EuroGames 2011 are being held under the auspices of the European Gay & Lesbian Sports Federation (EGLSF).

The EGLSF, founded in 1989, goals are:

• Fight discrimination, based on sexual preferences, in sports
• Prompt integration and emancipation of LGBTs in sports
• Support and enable athletes in their coming out
• Exchange information between European sports clubs and tournaments
• Support the founding of new LGBT and mixed sports clubs
