Accreditation

Participant & Visitor: Please do not forget to get your accreditation and collect your personal EuroGamesPass. Without these there will be no admission to the venues.

Did you pay your entry fees?

If we have not received your payment, you haven’ t been entered in the schedules and therefore cannot participate in the EuroGames. Before you leave for Rotterdam, make sure the payment has been transferred. If you find out about any difficulties in payment, contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it as soon as possible. With your corporation, we shall try to solve the issue at hand. There is not much we can do for you at accreditation, when your payment was unsuccessful. You will be registered as a visitor only!

EuroGamespas for Participents.

  • First thing to do after you get to Rotterdam, is collect your personal EuroGamesPass at accreditation at Rotterdamse Schouwburg. The pass will give you access to all venues (visiting ballroom dancing is excluded), the symposium, the opening ceremony and the final closing party. The picture you have uploaded on registration will be used for your pass. If you did not upload your picture, there will be none or your pass but access will still be granted for venues and all events. Bring along an identity card and proof of payment and collect your personal pass in an efficient way.
  • Beware: accreditation has to be at least 1 full hour before the start of any match you will participate in! We expect some busy hours, so don’t wait until the last minute. We advise you to get your pass the day before the games commence so you can completely focus on the games for the coming days.
  • With your pass you can visit all matches, ballroom dancing excluded!
  • If you have registered as a visitor, you can visit all matches, the symposium, the opening ceremony and the closing party but you will have no entry to ballroom dancing.
  • Collect your pass, just like the participants at Rotterdamse Schouwburg.
  • If have not paid in advance, you can still pay at accreditation.

EuroGamespass for visitors

  • If you have registered as a visitor, you can visit all matches, the symposium, the opening ceremony and the closing party but you will have no entry to ballroom dancing.
  • Collect your pass, just like the participants at Rotterdamse Schouwburg.
  • If have not paid in advance, you can still pay at accreditation.

Ballroom dancing

If you intend to visit Ballroom Dancing, you can buy entry tickets at accreditation at a special counter. You can also buy them at our website.

Extra’s

Coming along with your pass you will also receive a program booklet and the EuroGames accreditation bag. The bag contains the gay-map and a survey of all matches and events. Included is a giftbag. Visitors will also receive the bag.

The Rotterdamse Schouwburg has made her main hall available for the EuroGames to accredit all athletes and registered visitors.

Times to accredit are:

  • Wednesday 20 July-13.00-22.00
  • Thursday 21 July-07.00-19.00 & 22.00-23.00
  • Friday 22 July 07.00-22.00
  • Saturday 23 July 07.00-13.00

Please take into considerations that several thousands of participants and visitors will have to be handled which will surely take some time. Expect a minor delay.

Routing to Rotterdamse Schouwburg

By train from Rotterdam Central Station – 10 minutes walk.

Exit from the main entrance in the direction of Manhattan Hotel (the tower across the main road). Continue straight on (Mauritsweg) and make a left turn at Concertgebouw De Doelen (Schouwburgplein). Across the square is the Rotterdamse Schouwburg.

Public Transportation:

Tram 7, 8, 20, 21, 23 and 25 – stop Kruisplein (direction Schouwburgplein)

By car: (navigation direction: Rotterdam, Mauritsstraat 4)

The area around Rotterdamse Schouwburg is difficult to reach due to work in progress. If you still decide to come by car follow the signs Parkeergarage) Schouwburgplein. This parking garage is located directly under Rotterdamse Schouwburg. An alternative parking garage can be found under Bijenkorf (Bijenkorf Dept.Stores) which is a 10 minutes walk only.

About Rotterdamse Schouwburg

  • Rotterdamse Schouwburg is housed in the building at Schouwburgplein since April 1988, right in the center of town. Architect Wim Quist designed a progressive building, that soon became known as  “kist van Quist” -> the Box of Quist. In the theatre there are year round national and international events and shows including the well known Circus Festival.
  • During the 2010 refit the Central Hall was connected to the Café Floor next to the Theater. With this perfect match the City Foyer has come to life and is now an ideal place to welcome all participants and visitors of the EuroGames 2011!

You will be welcomed in what is called ‘ the Living Room of Rotterdam. In a trendy surrounding the main hall will be transformed into an efficient accreditation place where participants, supporters and locals can meet before, during and after the EuroGames. Using free Wi-Fi you can track all sports results, keep track of all Rotterdam events AND keep your friends at home posted!

Apart from the EuroGames2011 accreditation at Rotterdamse Schouwburg, there will be an unusual side event with which the Schouwburg will be part of the Colour Festival.
