Welcome!

Between July 20 and 24, 2011, Rotterdam will host the 13th edition of the EuroGames. This will be the largest LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) sports and cultural event ever held in Rotterdam. With approximately 4,000 athletes from 40 countries participating in over 20sports, Rotterdam follows in the footsteps of cities such as Copenhagen, Barcelona and Hanover.

Rotterdam will be full of activities during those 4 days. Under the care of the EuroGames, you are welcome to the Colour Festival: an extensive event for music, art and festivities. Come an participate to the event including a pink film festival at the Lantarn Venster,  an art trail and a big music show on July 23 in Rotterdam. You are also invited to a free closing music festival featuring the American group  Sister Sledge.

Welcome to the participants and visitors of the sports events and the extensive cultural program. Welcome also to all the residents. The EuroGames goes beyond gay and lesbian  rights in sports: it welcomes everyone to be open to each other regardless of cultural background, sexual orientation or gender. Everyone can participate and everyone can come and watch so just...
